Today would have been my due date to give birth to identical twins. While it is a day filled with undulating emotion, I am using the day to write, rest, and reflect.
On this day, I wanted to share an article I had the opportunity to write earlier this year for Women & Work titled “The Guilt of Grieving a Miscarriage as a Working Woman.” In this article, I share the particular grief I felt after going through a miscarriage as a woman who did not always want children and how God provides truth to cling to during hard seasons where grief wants to steal our souls away.
“Guilt surrounding miscarriage grief pushes us away from the Lord in a time when we need Him desperately.” - Emma Hinkle
I hope you give it a read and if you know any women who have walked through a season of miscarriage and are wrestling through grief, would you consider sharing with them?
